Are the fuel suppliers libel in your state and mine? Auto insurance agents are being vague when asked this question,
If so, auto insurance sales amount to un lawful soliciting and an un necessary purchase. Whats your state say? In Texas some fuel suppliers insure every customer, where do you buy your gas and does the consumer know? If its a law and we must carry proof of insurance, is a gasoline receipt proof enough? Thank you to all the fuel suppliers in Texas that do have insurance for all their Customers.

Resolved Question: Does Texas law state that the buyer of a vehicle must have auto insurance under their name?
I am buying a vehicle under my name. By law do I have to purchase the insurance under my name or can my sister (whose insurance is would be much cheaper) buy the insurance with me as the primary driver. If it is done this way will my loaner complain since the insurance was not really under my name? Any info would help…
