Resolved Question: Can I drop my insurance and take on the gov free healthcare and let everyone else pay for mine?
Are you okay with paying higher taxes on your insurance to pay for everyone’s health care? Can you afford to pay for it?
I am lower middle class. I live paycheck to paycheck. I cannot afford to pay more for insurance, light bill, auto emissions, soda’s or any of the many other things Obama wants to add a higher tax too. I am seriously concerned about becoming lower class and not being able to make just my basic bills.
Ok, I should not have used the word “free”. I didn’t mean to confuse the libs. It’s like misspelling a word. They loose focus on the real question.
My point was I cannot afford to pay higher taxes. I will be homeless. I live paycheck to paycheck now. Yes, I realize I already pay for the uninsured, but do you realize we will be paying even more and I cannot afford it.

Help me decide what to do.
After more than 10 years accident and ticket free, I got into two accidents in the past year. One was not my fault and one was my fault. Now my insurance is renewing at double what I was paying.
Should I just stay with my current carrier, thankful that they haven’t dropped me?
Should I shop around for a better deal?
Will I even be able to get coverage with someone else?
What would YOU do?
Voting Question: Would a Republican be able to do this?
There are often times many self-proclaimed Republicans on here that accuse Democrats of being ‘sheep’ or ‘drinking Pres. Obama’s kool-aid’, so I decided to do something totally different and list the issues that I do not agree with the Pres. on. Do you think a Republican could do this or would they just continue to repeat the talking points of the Republican talking heads?
Repealing don’t ask don’t tell- I think this is an issue that is sure to go back and forth and does not do him any good to step into. It just gives Republicans a wedge issue to use in the next election. I also think that it creates potential problems with some Democrats (such as myself).
Giving the auto industry deadlines to come up with solutions or face bankruptcy while giving Wall Street a free pass and possibly more free money.
His stance on Immigration that seems to advocate amnesty first and then enforcement of existing laws on immigration later.
His closeness with the health insurance providers to come up with a new solution to health care costs. I realize that he has to deal with them to come up with a solution, but I do not believe that they are willing to give up record profits for the sake of doing the right thing when it comes to the American public (just look at big oil).
