I have a 2007 honda car that I bought in Texas, drove it to canada for work and have been using it in ontario for a while.
My current US insurance company g**co has a policy to let me drive in canada if i am going to stay for less than half my policy period (i.e. 3 months at most), but i am planning to stay longer here.
Since I am driving my US registered car in Canada for a while and want a insurance local in canada. canadian insurance company wants vehicle to be registered in canada (in which case I wil pay taxes for vehicle and title transfer) and get canadina liscence (in which case will revoke my US texas liscence)
Is there any insurance company in US that will cover my vehicle insurance in both countries legally, since I will be staying in canada for a while ?..
