Open Question: How did the democrats bring down the economy while a Republican President was in office?
How did they do it? Driving fuel prices up was done by democrat supporters like Goldman Sachs encouraging speculating into the $150 a barrel range and above. Those connections are well documented, they are thick with the Obama administration.

The obstruction of all cost effective fuel and energy resources. They implementation of forced bad loans to set up the time bomb that the economic crash caused by fuel would ignite. All set off just in time to occur right before the elections, do you think that was just by chance? Hardly.

George Bush was in the White House, sure, but he didn’t cause what occurred, he warned against Freddy and Fanny Run Amock, both run by former Clinton employees Reins and Gorelick. The media called those who tried to stop the bad loans racist and basically took the support Bush needed to regulate Freddy and Fanny because congressmen first of all want to be reelected and the press can really cause them trouble.

BUT what I know you were talking about is Obama’s assault on business and development of a take over by government of business, and the destroying of the ability of small business to make it in the US. Small business which creates 70% of all new jobs and employs most people. Cap and Trade would destroy much business, he’s put the auto industry under government control and actually stole the assets and gave them to his supporters who had NO claim to them.

Obama is attempting to take over health care and the insurance industry and will one after another attempt to put everything to do with our economy under his control, and we have seen how he spends money, only his supporters including Hamas who gave him money, and Acorn which is well documented as a criminal enterprise and a law breaking cheating political action entity, that also engages in real threat and intimidation against Obama’s enemies to get them to do what he wants, like give up their position in bonds for car companies they legally hold and other things like in the past intimidation of bank management, storming into their offices and threatening their very homes and families, to force them to put out bad loans.

The economy was brought down by democrats. The press who they mostly own aiding and abetting, you can’t say honestly that republicans were in control, the press dictates public opinion and it was in the tank for democrats.

Some will blame GWB for the economy, but that isn’t what you are talking about.

Some will even bring up Cheney, just because he was named as a boogy man and had no power in economic policy. It’s that stupid, and some even fall for that Bush destroyed the economy crap, but THEY CAN’T TELL YOU HOW because Bush policy didn’t do it. Such is the state of argument on the democrat side.
g, typical sophist argument. That’s not what I said. Bush needed votes in congress to stop Fanny and Freddy, CEOs both big time democrats Reins and Gorelick. They were afraid of the bad press and he didn’t get the votes of enough, so there were enough republicans who voted with democrats to stop regulation of Freddy and Fanny. And that’s just part of it.
g, still you pull things out of thin air. Just because propaganda by democrats said Wall Street and Corporations and the very rich are republicans doesn’t mean it was ever so, it wasn’t. You are obviously caught up in the propaganda.

Bush really pushed to get Fanny and Freddy regulated, which is the only reason it came to a vote, but he lost because enough republicans voted with democrats.

All politicians are weak before the threat of losing their jobs, well almost all. Why do you think Obama’s health care crap isn’t passed? Because it’s so stupid that even all the support in the press can’t save democrats in some districts if they vote for it.

Stop with the baloney and the BS. Don’t try to make arguments for me I don’t make for myself. If you don’t have a good argument those tactics seem appealing, but they are easy to see through.
Who got the most money from Fanny and Freddy for his time in office? More than any others? OBAMA did! Chris Dodd and Barney Frank also got tons of money over the years from those scum bags.

Open Question: auto accident lawsuit after settlement?
I was involved in an accident. I was driving a rental car and I bought liability insurance from the rental car company. The accident was largely due to my fault. The other driver claimed damage from a) the car rental company b) his own insurance under UIM. He got paid by his own insurance (about $2000 — the damage that he claimed). He also assigned all rights/tittle in the claim to his insurance company.

One month later he also got a settlement from the car rental company (about $500). He also signed a property damage release form (discharging me and the rental company forever from any claim). But it seems that he did not inform his insurance company about this settlement. In all, he pocketed $2500 from both parties.

Now, his insurance company has sued me and the rental car company for damage ($2000 that they paid to the other driver)? Can we be held liable for this damage, especially if we have a property damage release from the other driver?

Does the date of property damage release matter ?? It was executed one month after he assigned all rights and title of this claim to his own insurance company?
To clarify, there is no injury claim. The only claim was $2000 for property (it was a small accident). That claim got paid by his own insurance because he had UIM coverage. Then later he also got some money for the rental claim and executed a property release.
